Yet another anniversary: Diana, Princess of Wales, died in the early morning hours of August 30, 1997. In the five years since, the Royal Family has become more media-saavy and relaxed. If that is not her legacy, I don't know what is.

Today is the 9th anniversary of my friend Beth Condon's death. She was hit and killed by a drunk driver in the early morning hours on August 28th, 1993. We still miss you, Sprite!

So, I just got back from a very enjoyable weekend. Dave and I went down to Jersey to visit some friends, and help them get their new house ready to move in to. We also took in a comedian, Jim Norton. He was funny, but I think his comedy is much funnier if one is a man. Sunday we took in a HV Renegades/Brooklyn Cyclones game in Brooklyn. The Renegades won- woo! Dave and I were (I think) the only ones cheering for the 'Gades... that was the best part! A very fun weekend.
