This is pretty funny. Who looks at the postmark anyway? All we need now is an anthrax letter to come from Santa Claus, IN or Hope, RI... what will people think of next? And I'm pretty sure that the postal workers in those towns don't get paid extra for all the extra postmarking they do! In other news, saw The Fellowship of the Ring last night. Absolutely gorgeous movie, beautifully shot, masterfully directed. More enjoyable than the book, no doubt. I'm one of those loserific people who can't stand to read Tolkien. But now I'm like one of "those people"... you know- the ones who don't read the books and only see the movies... those people bug me. I usually always read the book before I see the movie. I even read HP and the Sorcerer's Stone again before I saw the movie, just to have it fresh in my mind. But, I remember trying to read Tolkien as a child, and it was so BORING. I had seen the Disney version of The Hobbit and I enjoyed it, so I started trying to read the books. They were not my cup of tea. In any case, though, I enjoyed the movie last night, even if I didn't pick up all of the nuances. I'm still asking Dave things...he is wise in the way of Tolkien...

Merry Yule everyone!

Well...Yule is almost upon us. I believe Solstice is tomorrow at 2:22 pm. And then winter will be here... my least favorite season. How long until the Equinox?? And back to my favorite subject this week... now that the Senorita is standing next to the Senor, she is much shorter... I'm guessing she must be a teenager. So, even if she wasn't his ward, there really could be nothing between them anyway. But, at least he has company now...They can chit chat at night, with the light from their glowing atomic clothes... her dress, his suit and fedora...

And, now that the Senorita has arrived, I find out that she is the ward of Senor Misterioso. So... unless he wants to dishonor the memory of his late partner (the Senorita's father), he can act only as a father figure. But I suppose that they can still hang out. Ah well...so much for my grandiose plans. I can't wait until 12/30... I'll be seeing Patrick Stewart in A Christmas Carol. I have wanted to see this show for a while now, and I was lucky enough to be able to snag seats this year. I didn't think I'd get the chance, because last year was supposed to the the last year that he was doing it. But...he wanted to help out and raise some money for NYC, so he consented to do a few more shows. EXCELLENT! It still remains to be seen what the heck we're going to do the next night... only the Shadow (and Senor Misterioso) knows...

It must be an amazing thing to know that you know everything... that everything you surround yourself with is right, and that all else is absolutely and completely wrong... that there is no need to have and form opinions, because everything you spout is absolute truth, and that those who break with what is right and correct are, in essence, not worthy of existence... I speak, of course, of the great Senor Misterioso...who will soon be getting his Senorita...

Wonderful! Sometimes the judicial system (and yes, even the Bush administration) knows what it's doing! Let the dredging begin!
