This is unbelievable. Do you know that we have given the INC (Iraqi National Council) $39 million? $39 million! ($33 million from the State and $6 million from the Defense Intelligence Agency)Where do we get money to give away for no reason, and to organizations which are headed by people formerly charged with and convicted of fraud? Why do we not have enough for schools? For the arts? Why is it that people are constantly fighting for more money in areas where money should be, if not plentiful, at least accessible? Schools, people. Where our kids learn how to grow up and be productive members of society. You know, where they spend that small portion of their day that isn't spent in front of a TV or video game? You remember, right?
Bush sucks. End of story.
BTW: Factoid of the day: People spend, on average, 30,000 hours watching TV. In a lifetime. That's insane.

Pardon my crassness here for a second, but FUCK those self-important religious types who think that they can impose their beliefs on others. Religion is a personal matter, and I have no problem with people having and following their own brand of religion, but (as they are so fond of reminding people) this is America, assholes. Separation of Church and State and all that? Sound familiar? Not all of us subscribe to your version of the world. There are even some, *gasp*, ATHEISTS in the country. They don't try to make you disbelief, so stop trying to make them and everyone else follow your stupid teachings and beliefs. And yeah, I said stupid. I am so sick and fucking god-damned tired of you people and your assholickness. Get a clue, get some tolerance, read the Bible (especially the Love Thy Neighbor bullshit) and WAKE UP! Yesterday meant absolutely nothing to you people. Your lives didn't change one iota just because a bunch of people got married. So shut the fuck up and go back into your holes. You can come out when the world ends. I'll let you know when it happens.

Congratulations to Janna and Natka, who applied for their marriage license with hundreds of other couples at the stroke of midnight this morning at Cambridge City Hall. It truly is a wonderful day in Massachusetts. It's a day for celebrating equal rights and, of course, love! YAY!
Janna and Natka, who were married in a ceremony last August, plan to make their marriage legal early next month. Congratulations again!
