Ok...so I've been just a little busy the past couple of days, so I have not had time to express this: YEAH PATS!!! YOU GO!!! Ok, excellent, I feel better now. Just so excited that the Pats pulled through on Sunday. Despite the referees trying to make up for the supposed outrage over the call last week... that was outrageous. I can't believe that the Steelers got away with trying to kill Tom Brady (not once, but twice- and suceeding in pulling him out of the game!). Luckily, the Pats had the best back-up QB in the league! heh Anywho- can't wait for Sunday. In other news: the trip to London is definitely on, provided that the US Government gets my passport to me on time. They should, seeing as how I paid out the a** for it. *shrug* We'll see... all for now...ta!

I have nothing to comment on... which is a lie. I have plenty to comment on... I am just choosing to display decency.

Let's go Pa-ats... let's go!! My new favorite football rule: The Tuck Rule... even though no one has ever heard of it before. All I know is that it kept the Pats in the game and allowed them to win...and if you ask me, it was karmic. I believe this happened in reverse a number of years ago, allowing Oakland to advance through a "bad call"... so- what goes around comes around. And if you look at it... it really looks like someone was watching over the Pats. I mean, a call reversal that kept them alive, a last ditch field goal attempt that really shouldn't have made it, but did... and the overtime coin toss win which gave them possession. Yeah, I'd say definitely karmic. And it really is nice to see Boston teams doing well... the Celtics, the Bruins, the Pats... Pedro who??

I think I shall never understand the USPS. I'm pretty sure they live in their own little world... I've been trying to renew my passport for awhile now. I had to get and fill out the proper paperwork, and since I was under the age of 16 (15!!) when I got my last passport, they treat me like I've never had one before (even though this will be my third!)... meaning I have to do it in person- can't mail it in. So, I go to the closest Post Office by my house that does passports (which is about 45 mins from my house). I did this on one of my days off that happened to be on a weekday (and since Jan is a slow month for us, I don't have many of those weekday days off)... due to other reasons that I won't go into now (remind me to tell you all about Raymour & Flanigan!!!), I wasn't able to leave my house until after 3:00p...which was fine, because when I called the PO, they said that they do passports during their regular business hours of 8a-5p. I had to get my pictures done first, so I ended up not getting to the PO until about 4:30 (still plenty of time, or so I thought!). After standing in line for a couple minutes, I get to the window- and was promptly (and rudely) told that if I wanted to do passports, I would have to "come back when we actually do passports, M-F from 9-4"... grrrrr...

Which brings me to yesterday... I found a PO that does passports near where I work, so yesterday I took some time and went to get it done. They told me that they only do passports from 9-11a M-F... so today I go to the same place, deal with the same guy... only it's between the correct hours, so he does it (and it costs me $95!!)... I don't understand the USPS!!!

But now it's done...so I'll stop complaining... and just think about being in London in a couple of weeks!! Ahhhhhhh...

I just can't... even though I want to... Telecharge.com has just sent me an offer for $50 tickets for The Tale of the Allergist's Wife which looks fabulous... but I just can't do it. This has been a stellar year for me and The Great White Way... I've seen The Producers, Noises Off, The Full Monty, and Patrick Stewart in A Christmas Carol... not to mention that I have tickets for Mamma Mia this month, and The Lion King in June. And what with a vacation coming up next month (to goddess knows where- could be Europe, could be Arizona), and a Vegas Vacation (just like the movie!) booked for September, I just can't do it... I just can't... can I??
