Well... I don't do this often, but I bought a Powerball ticket today. I couldn't help it... it's up to $280 million for Saturday's drawing! I don't usually play lottery games... as I've never known anyone to win big. But every once in awhile, when the jackpot gets big, I figure what the heck. You have to be in it to win it!

Spent most of yesterday watching Shark Week on Discovery. Love those sharks... although I do feel bad for the little seals. Poor seals. Now, if only we could train those sharks to eat at McDonalds! Of course, that would rapidly speed up their extinction... so maybe we'd better just stick with the seals...

Went climbing yesterday, at Go Vertical in Stamford, CT. It's been a couple of months since I climbed last- and I certainly felt it. But I had a great time...and it did feel good. Yea! I need to climb more often... I'd forgotten how much fun it was. Season finale of Six Feet Under tonight... good show. I hope they re-run the season, as I didn't start watching until about 3 episodes ago.

And oh yeah...this just hit me as I was surfing around (I know, I know- I said I was going to bed...)... according to MSNBC (who, btw, say they got the story straight from The London Times), U2 is coming around for another pass. Apparently, they've had so much fun on their tour, that they are heading back to North America for a 2nd round of concerts after they finish up in Europe in early September. No word yet on whether this is true or when/where the concerts will be. I tried to confirm this by going to U2's website, but haven't found out anything yet. Being quite upset that I missed them on the first pass, I would love to see them this time around (not to mention that Dave would love to see them too!). Fingers crossed people!

Well, seeing Chris get back to basics inspired me to come back and blog my little heart out. Not too much is happening, though, so I fear that my desire to blog will lead to nothing more than the wimpy ponderings of my taxed brain. heh Now, that was whiny. Still no pic up of the not so new car. What have I been doing? Obviously neglecting my online responsibilities and concentrating on my rl ones...with the exception of one devishly delightful site called eBay. Maybe you've heard of it? In any case, I have enjoyed my time away from the Net, although I must admit that I am not entirely surprised to have left it behind... I am an Aries, am I not? My motto is I am- not I was, not I continue. I am content to live always in the present, dropping my new found fascination for something even newer and even more fascinating. And with that deep introspection, I shall end... taking my tea and my Mary, Queen of Scots biography and heading to bed. Goodnight...
